motorcycles, sex & temptation

April 1, 2011

Written in 2011. Some words and facts have changed since then; we've kept the post as it was written. For up-to-date information, see our gay kink resources.

I've found myself caught in a duality lately... For some time, I've resisted any interest in modern day motorcycles. This is, in part, because they were designed to appeal to the masses-at-large. They were designed with the specific intent of being sexual. Typically, those two things, unto themselves, are enough to disinterest me. But, lately, I've found myself yielding to temptation. I don't know if this means I'm slowly becoming more in line with the mainstream, or if the industry has just done a really good job of integrating sexuality into their products, but either way, I find myself turning my head when I see a so-called 'crotch-rocket' on the road... Is the rider attractive? Are they wearing motorcycle gear? Gloves? Padding? Or even better, leathers??

But, none the less, I catch myself eyeing them in the hope of seeing some attractive guys wearing some motorcycle gear.

I know it's cliché, and many people outright dislike modern street motorcycles, but there is something sexy about a guy riding in the open air, with a powerful piece of machinery between his legs, clad in padded leather and gear... The heat of the summer sun warming them as they speed along the thoroughfare, with suggestive names like 'Viper' stenciled neatly near their lower extremities. And, while these modern day cycles are common, some riders even still manage to pull of that 'bad boy' attitude; something which always makes me consider what kind of 'bad boy' they may be in bed...

So, as spring yields to summer, I will allow my head to be turned. I will fantasize about whether he is wearing anything under his leather and motorcross armour. I will imagine the perversions which might lie in wait in his bedroom; consider the gear he'll leave on. I'll imagine the scent of leather on his skin; the grip of his gloves. While it is against my common nature to find myself considering the sexuality of something outright designed to do so, I will let these sightings be the things which fantasies are made of...
