People may also use "ommer" to describe the same general family role, though people may prefer one term over the other based on personal, cultural, or community preference.
Pibling may also appear as a relationship label, chosen-family title, or role within family-based roleplay dynamics. The term itself is not BDSM-specific, though some people may use it within incest play or family roleplay contexts.
