A form of play where one partner brings the other to ejaculation through stimulation of the penis, the prostate or both, with the receiver usually handing over control of when and how it happens. It often carries themes of power exchange, service, use or objectification.
The physical contact can look much like a handjob, but the emphasis is different. Instead of the receiver’s pleasure being the point, the ejaculation itself becomes the focus, and the person doing the milking may decide its timing, its manner, how much is produced and whether stimulation carries on afterwards. Some scenes keep going past the first release, sometimes called a “full drain”, which can end in small releases or dry orgasms with little or no semen.
Milking can be orgasmic or non-orgasmic. Ejaculation and orgasm do not always happen together, so someone can produce semen while feeling little orgasmic sensation, particularly with some kinds of prostate stimulation, or climax while releasing almost nothing. As a result the term spans a wide range, taking in complete ejaculations, slow dribbles, ruined orgasms and dry ones. It can be sexual or non-sexual in tone and often appears in medical play, authority roleplay and consensual use fantasies.
Some enjoy it for the control it gives one partner over the other’s orgasm, which ties it closely to forced orgasm play and power exchange; others for clinical scenarios with restraints, tools and doctor or technician roles. People into hucow or livestock play may enjoy being treated as an animal to be milked, and both partners can find the intense, focused attention rewarding in itself. The name draws on livestock and dehumanising imagery.
It is usually done by hand, though some people add automated milking machines that provide steady stimulation under a partner’s control, or milking tables, which resemble massage tables with an opening that gives a partner access from below. Bondage benches and horses can serve the same purpose, often combined with restraints.
