face sitting

Face sitting is the act of one person sitting or kneeling over a partner’s face so that the partner underneath can give them oral stimulation. The contact can be with the genitals, the anus or both, and the act is open to people of any gender, body or orientation. Queening is a common name for one form of it, usually where the sitter takes a regal or dominant “queen” role, and some people use kinging as a counterpart. Face sitting is often combined with toys, bondage or a power dynamic, and special furniture such as queening stools and benches exists for it.

Some enjoy the sheer intensity of it, with touch, taste, scent and sound all arriving at once. Others are drawn to the power it creates: the sitter is in physical charge while the partner below can see and move very little and vision, which can be heightened with restraints or roleplay, or turned into consensual humiliation where the partner underneath is treated as furniture. Many givers enjoy feeling the sitter respond, while the sitter can set the pace of their own pleasure and, without eye contact, may find it easier to let go. Some find it physically easier than other oral positions. It overlaps with smothering and breath play, face farting and size or weight play.

Safety & Consent

Because the person underneath may be unable to speak, partners should agree on a non-verbal signal to pause or stop before play begins, and should talk through what face sitting means to each of them and where their limits are. Any restriction of breathing carries real risk and needs to be negotiated on its own, not assumed as part of the act. Checking in afterwards helps everyone feel good about the experience.
