Bondage tape is a stretchy, non-adhesive PVC tape made for restraint play. It clings only to itself, so it does not stick to skin or hair and leaves nothing behind when it comes off. It is reusable and comes in many colours.
Partners use it to bind wrists, ankles and arms, to hold limbs together, or to wrap larger parts of the body for partial or full mummification. It can also be wound into a makeshift blindfold or gag, or used purely decoratively. Because it peels away and goes back on quickly, a tie can be adjusted mid-scene without much interruption, and it holds up in water, so it also suits bath or shower play. Many people new to bondage find it less daunting than cuffs or rope, while others like the smooth, even pressure of a full wrap and the glossy look of the finished result.
Safety & Consent
The tape should feel secure rather than tight, and it is best kept off joints and bony spots, where it can pinch. Partners should check in regularly; tingling or numbness means it is too tight and needs to come off. Keep safety shears with rounded tips close by so it can be cut away fast, and avoid piling on so many layers that quick removal becomes hard.
When the person wrapped may not be able to speak, agree on a non-verbal stop signal beforehand. The tape does not breathe, so larger wraps trap heat and are best kept brief.
