The Penley Bootblack Pride Flag
The Penley Bootblack Pride Flag

Designed by Jesse "Spanky" Penley of Kansas City, premiering at International LeatherSIR/International Leatherboy weekend in Atlanta on October 6, 2005. Built from the Leather Pride colours, a diagonal stripe distinguishes it from that flag: two blue stripes and one white, their widths signifying the wide range of people who are, and who appreciate, bootblacks. The unisex boot represents the non-gender-specific nature of bootblacking, and the large red heart behind it signifies the heart a bootblack puts into their work.
