Leather Pride

Designed by Tony DeBlase, the flag debuted in Chicago in May 1989 as a symbol for the leather subculture. DeBlase stated that the meaning of the flag's colours is left to the individual. Though most visible within the gay community, it stands as a symbol for the fetish community at large, regardless of orientation.
