omorashi

Omorashi, often shortened to omo, is a fetish focused on a full bladder, desperation to urinate and wetting. It can involve holding on until desperate, watching someone else struggle to hold, wetting oneself accidentally or on purpose, or having control over when another person is allowed to go.

In everyday Japanese the word simply means wetting oneself or having an accident, and it is connected to a verb meaning to leak. It had become an established category of Japanese adult media by the 1990s, and English-speaking kink communities later adopted it as a narrower term than urolagnia or watersports.

Some are drawn to the physical urgency and tension of a full bladder. Others enjoy the power exchange, such as needing permission to go or being made to wait. Loss of control, whether real or imposed, can be emotionally intense, and the embarrassment and vulnerability of wetting fit naturally with humiliation and D/s dynamics. Play can range from permission and denial games and teasing to sex while desperate, wetting clothes or bedding, restraint, and caring clean-up afterwards. Some combine it with diaper play between adults.

Safety & Consent

The main physical risk is urinary tract infection. Holding urine for too long or too often can also strain the bladder or cause temporary incontinence, so regular toilet breaks outside of play matter. Drinking excessive amounts of water in a short time can cause water intoxication, where the body’s electrolytes become dangerously diluted; it can lead to confusion, seizures, coma and even death. Avoiding overdoing fluids, and including drinks that contain electrolytes, reduces that risk. Waterproof covers or absorbent pads help with mess.
